Nazira Sowaid

 Principal Lawyer

Nazira Sowaid has over 20 years experience representing and advocating for clients from across Australia. Nazira is admitted as a solicitor with the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. Nazira has represented clients in the Local Court, District Court, Supreme Court and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Nazira brings a wealth of experience in family law, criminal law, wills and estates and general litigation. Nazira has represented clients from all walks of life and always ensures that her clients are heard, provided with timely advice and are supported through their legal journey.

Nazira is fluent in Arabic, she has tried to learn Spanish and Auslan. In her spare time, Nazira is heavily involved in community work. She is a  board member of Western Sydney Community Centre and Bhanin Association Australia. She volunteers regularly, assisting with the day-to-day running of the community centre.

Nazira is on a number of Legal Aid panels, including; the family law panel, criminal law panel and domestic violence panel. In her spare time, Nazira likes to go bushwalking, chase waterfalls and write a bit of poetry.
